Maria-Francesca P. Fleming is an artist and a former art teacher. As an art teacher she was constantly honing her skills by guiding her students in the creation of sketches, watercolors, paintings, print making, and an occasional clay sculpture. She has studied art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Ohio Dominican College, and the University of Americas in Mexico City. Teaching art also allowed her to expand her skills and knowledge by visiting major art museums and attending classes and workshops throughout the USA, along with workshops in Italy and France. Ms. Fleming is a genre artist who captures the small moments in life before they can slip away. Her work is personal and not institutional. She creates work for people to savor and enjoy, Ms. Fleming has exhibited work in Paris and throughout the USA. This includes Denver, CO, Wyoming. Columbus, OH, the Ohio State Fair, and the Ohio Art League. Born in Findlay, Ohio, Ms. Fleming is a graduate of Ohio State University with a BFA in painting and has a master’s degree from the University of Colorado. |
